Christina Ifurung
Pagsuyo Facilitator
Christina Ifurung is a second-generation immigrant and daughter of Arthur Ifurung of Pampanga in Central Luzon region and Catherine Gabriel of La Union in the Northern Ilocos region of the Philippines. She currently resides the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute terretories, also known as Denver, Colorado.

Christina is a multidimensional human being; her most cherished roles are being a mama to her two boys, Neo (9) and Ezra (16 months), and a devoted wife and partner to Caleb.
Professionally, she has served as a Registered Nurse for over 15 years, specializing in the NICU before stepping into her current role in Pediatric Endocrinology.

Spiritually, Christina walks a path of trust, remembrance, and reconnection. Inspired by the quote, “Your branches can only grow as high as your deepest roots,” ignited the catalyst that led her on a search and longing for "home" and a deepening of her own roots and traditions. Synchronized events in her life and the search of “Babalyan” traditions opened a whole new world in decolonization and liberation. This search ultimately brought her to discovering who Atè Leny was, which then led to her meeting Atè Lily. Together, they created Pagusyo.

Christina’s energy medicine practice, Kapwa Healing, holds a deep heart space that aims to weave in the tapestries of our lives by nurturing the mind, body, heart, and spirit in truth. Her purpose is simple: KAPWA — collective oneness and bringing in compassion while also rekindling our relationship with the land, ourselves, and each other.
